Media On Demand for Kids!
Download eBooks, eAudiobooks, and streaming video from the Overdrive Kids eReading Room.  All of the juvenile titles available from Media On Demand can be found in this room.  You can search by interest level, ATOS level, Lexile Measure, or reading level.  Once downloaded, titles will automatically expire at the end of the lending period.  To get started, go to

Check Out a Nook Color!
The Library has 14 preloaded Nooks for circulation.  Each Nook has an assortment of juvenile and young adult fiction titles including bestsellers and can be checked out for three weeks.  Ask at the Circulation Desk for more details.

What are TumbleBooks?  The TumbleBookLibrary is a collection of TumbleBooks (animated talking picture books) with fiction, non-fiction and foreign language titles, Read-Alongs (chapter books with sentence highlighting and narration but no animation), Ebooks which may be viewed online, and Tumble Puzzles & Games.  Start your tumbling now by clicking on the picture below:


1000 Books Before Kindergarten
Take the pledge to share 1000 books with your child before he or she starts Kindergarten!  Children will earn stickers for every 100 books read, and after reading 1000 books will get a choice of a book to keep!  Stop by the Youth Services Desk for reading logs and more information.

Free Educational Games
- provides a variety of math and logic puzzles for players to complete.  The website site is aimed at grades 1-12. - A website where players answer multiple choice questions in categories such as vocabulary, geography, math, and the humanities.  The website is aimed at all ages, and for every correct answer, 10 grains of rice are donated to the United Nations World Food Programme. - Provides reading and math games for K-8 students.  There are also web versions of books and comics, such as Diary of a Wimpy Kid. - Provides links to nearly 300 learning games on various sites online.  These games can be browsed by subject or grade level, which range from pre-school to college. - A website for K-8 students, where players are matched up with others in real time to compete in spelling and math games.
