How To Get A Library Card
Library cards are available free of charge to persons of any age who reside within the boundaries of the Green Hills Public Library District. You can view a map of the Library District
here. If you are a resident of this Library District,
two forms of identification are necessary to get a library card
including one photo I.D. Both forms of identification must show
proof of residency. Patrons under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian sign the application form. An individual who owns property or a business within the library district may also receive one library card in their name with proof of ownership such as a property tax bill.
Lost or stolen cards should be reported to the Library immediately. Patrons are responsible for any materials charged out on their card. A $2.00 fee will be charged for a replacement card.
Additional replacement cards within one year is $5.00.
A non-resident library card is available for a yearly fee of $192.00. This card entitles the holder to the same access privileges as the resident card.
Those with Metropolitan Library System cards can check out materials.
